When is a wedding code required?

Follow

APP:

Your Wedding Code is required for guests to access your app. Guests need to only enter it ONCE and the information is saved for all their recurring sessions.

Website:

Your Wedding Code also needed when guests need to post any content to your website (Photos, messages and RSVP). This is to ensure you only have people you want adding any information to your website. Like the app, the code is only asked one time and then it's saved and associated with that user.

Privacy Settings:

Depending on your privacy settings the wedding code may be required once they get to your site:

If your wedding is set to PRIVATE, when a guest arrives at your site they would need:

  • Your wedding code and
  • Name OR email that that is on your guest list

What if a guest is not on your list? The guest is prompted to request access. A email or push notification is sent to you immediately for approval.

If your wedding is set to SEMI-PRIVATE, only when a guest is adding any content (photos, Messages or RSVP) they would be prompted for:

  • Your wedding code and
  • Name OR email that that is on your guest list

What if a guest is not on your list? The guest is prompted to request access. A email or push notification is sent to you immediately for approval.

If your wedding is set to PUBLIC, only when a guest is adding any content (photos, Messages or RSVP) they would be prompted for:

  • Your wedding code

Note: The name and email of the guest is asked, though it doesn't need to match your guest list. This adds them to your guest list, so you have a complete picture of who came and added what.
