How to send emails

You can send emails to your guests through Appy Couple. You can send the following email templates to your guests: All emails are pre-rendered to match your wedding style with Appy and important information like your wedding website and guest access are pre-filled:

  • Save the Date
  • App and Wedding Website Invite
  • Personalized Card
  • Reminder 
  • Follow-up 

To send an email: 

  • Log in to your Appy Couple Editor 
  • Click the "Email and Share" tab
  • Click the template you would like to send
  • Type an optional message to add to the message 
  • Click the red "Select Recipients" button 
  • Select one of the options (All guests, let me choose manually, or guest by tag). If you are sending your email to all guests, click "send" 
  • If you choose "Let me choose manually," click "next." You will then be able to select the guests you wish to send the email to. 

Additional email features include: 

  • View new and sent email templates in one dashboard view
  • Indicators for unsent, sent, and opened emails 
  • The maximum number of times an email can be sent to a guest is 3. If a guest has opened an email template from Appy Couple, it cannot be resent to them.
  • If a guest has already opened an email, the template cannot be resent

NOTE: Any message you add is limited to 400 characters 

To add a new email template: 

  • Log into your Appy Couple Editor
  • Go to the email and share section: https://www.appycouple.com/mywedding/email
  • Click on Add New
  • Click On the new template you wish to send out
  • Click Select
  • Click Select Recipients
  • Add any text you would like to the text box
  • Choose who you would like to send the email to
  • Click send
